New Journey Youth Group

RMO Program: Day Trip Intro to Survival Basics

Objectives: Provide 17 teenagers with a first time introduction to wilderness survival

Age group: 13 to 18

Training Location: Real Men Outdoors Training Center/Spirit Farm

Background: This is a group that we are working with both in the class room with The Gardening program as well as field training.

New Journey Youth Center Inc. (NJYC) is a trendsetter for teens who choose to follow their dreams. NJYC, provides many programs for youth ages 12-19 (grades 6-12). They assist our future generation in becoming proficient in the skills of Effective Communication, Education Support, Mentoring (through the Goodwill Good Guides Program), Creative Development as well as Community Involvement.

NJYC, was developed in 2007 out of a need for effective communication between teens, parents and their peers. Their mission is to provide teens with the useful life resources they will need to become successful, self sufficient and a valuable asset to society.
